I bought this OMS dive bag because of the size. I wanted to have a bag which fits mine and my wife’s dive equipment. I can 100% confirm that the bag size is more than sufficient for 2 gear sets. I use this bag in the last 9 months and have been on rough beach dives in Qatar as well as 3 liveaboards in Maldives and one in Thailand. The bag truly can take some abuse. I like the large compartment and in the deck the pockets with zipper. They can be used for compressible items like close. However, most airlines limit their luggage weight to max. 25kg or 20kg. This means you generally can not pack this bag to the limits despite the ample available volume. Some items may have to be packed in a separate bag to bring the weight down, if needed. The compression straps are great and help to make the bag more compact. The handles are also very useful for grabbing, handling, shifting the bag especially when transporting onto and around vessels or airports. The telescopic handle allows easy control over the bag when used as roller bag. No issue with the big and rugged wheels. I generally roll the bag 99% of the time when moving around to the car or in airports. The bag tends a bit to fall over if over packed, which is acceptable since not having any stabilizing bars or plastic reinforcement safes weight. A good feature is that the telescopic handle can be zipped away. This way its safe and secure stored. The shoulder straps I have not used, however might be good if needed for carrying over uneven terrain. The main zipper is also very robust and has not shown any issue with opening and closing despite being exposed to harsh ocean environment. I have the bag with pink logo stitching. The OMS stitching holds up well despite showing minor wearing off. Overall, a very good bag, which is made for a tough diver environment. I am very happy with the bag as it keeps our 2 gears in one place.
